Colby.  How does one describe Colby?  In reality, words fail.  He was a great dog and will always hold a place in my heart.  Colby was 100% Labrador, everything I adore about the breed, was contained in him.  If I could have bottled and sold it, I would be rich.  Colby was loyal.  He was always by my side until the trials of being a senior grew tiresome and he was more content to rest on his dog bed.  Colby always tried.  If I had asked him to fetch me the moon, he would have figured out a way.  Colby was a friend.  There wasn’t a human, canine, or any other critter that he didn’t get along with.  Colby was my dog.  I was his human.  And I am ever so lucky
